Business Communication 2 (A)

I feel like it’s a combination of English 3, Business Conversation, Listening & Speaking, and English for Office Management. There will be dimension of cultures (in L&S), communication barriers (in Bus Con), and some new lessons for Midterm part. For Final Exam, there will be memo/letter writing and resume (in English 3). You don’t have to write it in the exam, but you have to identify which part of the resume is good and bad. You will also learn how to prepare and do good presentation such as slide preparation etc. If you take English for Office Management as your major elective course, you will see these lessons as well.

For me, I took this course with A.Rusma, an Indian lecturer (if i’m not wrong). She speaks really fast..the lessons will be passed through as quick as blinking your eyes lol. But, she is soooo kind. If you miss out or don’t understand any point, you can ask her directly. She is really open-minded to help all students. A.Rusma normally teaches only important lessons (the ones that gonna be in the exam). She is very well-prepared for her teaching. When she teaches in classes, she sum up the lessons into her own words which help students understand much easier, not just standing there and reading all random stuff.

Most of the times, there are some in-class assignments (almost every class). I suggest that you should not miss any class and try to finish the work in class. Otherwise, you will feel that there are too many jobs to do. Moreover, some assignments are allowed to be submitted in class only. She gives marks easily, so please do not throw this good chance to get marks away.

ส่วนตัวรู้สึกว่าวิชานี้เหมือนเอา eng 3 + bus con + L&S + eng office มาผสมกัน เพราะครึ่งมิดเทอม จะได้เรียนพวก dimension of cultures (เรียนไปแล้วใน L&S), communication barriers (ในบัสคอน) แล้วก็เนื้อหาใหม่ๆเล็กน้อย ส่วนไฟนอลก็จะมีการเขียนเมมโม/จดหมาย, เรซูเม่ (อันนี้เวลาสอบจะไม่ได้เขียนเองนะ แต่ให้วิจารณ์ว่าตัวอย่างที่ให้มาดีไม่ดียังไง) ซึ่งเรียนไปแล้วในอิ๊ง3 แล้วก็จะได้เรียนเรื่องการเตรียมพรีเซ้นต์ เช่น สไลด์ไรงี้อ่ะ ถ้าใครที่เลือกเรียน eng office เป็น major elect ก็จะได้ผ่านตาไปบ้างแล้วแหละ

ตัวเราโชคดีมากกกได้เรียนกับอ.รุสม่า เป็นคนอินเดียนะถ้าจำไม่ผิด พูดค่อนข้างเร็ว สอนไว แต่!!ใจดีฝุดๆ ไม่เข้าใจหรือไม่ทันตรงไหนถามอ.ได้เลย อ.ยินดีช่วยเหลือนศ.เสมอ สไตล์การสอนของอ.คือสอนแค่ตรงที่มันจะออกข้อสอบง่ะ แบบไม่ได้มายืนอ่านปลาวๆในห้องให้ครบทุกตัวข้อ อ.จะไปอ่านมาก่อนแล้วมาสรุปให้พวกเราฟังในห้องว่าอะไรสำคัญ ใช้ภาษา/คำศัพท์ที่เข้าใจได้ง่าย

ส่วนมากจะมีงานในคลาส มีบ่อยอยู่ เกือบทุกคลาสก็ว่าได้ พยายามอย่าขาดเรียน+ดอง ไม่งั้นจะต้องตามกันไม่หวั่นไม่ไหว แถมบางงานอ.จะให้ส่งแค่ในคบาสเท่านั้นด้วย อ.ให้คะแนนดีฉะนั้นอย่าโยนโอกาสได้คะแนนเก็บดีๆแบบนี้ทิ้งเลยเนาะ
