Translation in Business English (A)

This course is a major elective course (not required) for Arts English students. For students from other Departments, they can take it as a free elective one. It is rarely opened since there are not many interested students. The course title itself has shown what you guys will meet for the whole semester...you will need to do lots of translations (both TH-EN and EN-TH). Even though the course is not easy, I would say it's really useful! You will learn how to tranlate several kinds of documents: legal contracts, letters, speeches, itinerary, etc.

I took the course with A. Uraiphan, my lovely angel. She's soooooo kind and warm. If you have any questions. feel free to ask her! She hints the way to do assignments in details which is so helpful. However, it doesn't mean that she would give an A to any students. Every grade has its own standards; you need to put efforts in you work as well.

สำหรับวิชานี้เป็นวิชา Major Elective สำหรับเด็กอาร์ทอิ๊งนะคะ สำหรับนักศึกษาจากคณะ/สาขาอื่นๆสามารถเลือกเรียนเป็น Free Elective ได้จ้า ปกติไม่ค่อยเปิดเพราะว่าเด็กลงน้อย เนื้อหาที่เรียนในวิชานี้ก็สมชื่อเลย 'Translation' ง่ายๆว่าแปลกันทั้งเทอม (ทั้งไทย-อิ๊ง และ อิ๊ง-ไทย) ถึงแม้ว่าวิชานี้จะไม่หมูแต่บอกเลยว่ามีประโยชน์มากๆ คือแบบได้เรียนรู้วิธีการแปลที่หลากหลายมาก ไม่ว่าจะเป็นแปลสัญญา จดหมาย สุนทรพจน์ กำหนดการต่างๆ และอื่นๆอีกมากมาย

เราเรียนวิชานี้กับอ.อุไรพรรณ อ.สุดที่รักของเราเลยจ้า เป็นคนใจดีและอบอุ่นมากกกกกกกก สงสัยตรงไหนถามได้ตลอด เวลาให้ทำงานก็คือช่วยให้คำแนะนำละเอียดมากซึ่งแบบ(โคตร)มีประโยชน์ แต่อ.ใจดีแบบนี้ไม่ได้แปลว่าปล่อย A มั่วๆนะจ๊ะ ทุกอย่างยังคงเป็นไปตามมาตรฐานการตัดเกรด ควรจะใส่ใจและใส่ความพยายามในการทำงานเหมือนวิชาอื่นๆเด้อ
