Translation II (A)

Translation is a major requirement for Thai students. Foreigners do not have to study this course. It won’t be too difficult if you have good base of English grammar.

I took this course in the semester 1/2017 with A.Uraiphan. I reallyyyyyyyyyyy recommend you all to study with her. She is so kind and always understand students. However, she teaches a bit fast. But, if you have any questions, you can ask her for the explanations. She would welcome and try to help you as well if you face with any problems.

For the lessons, you will learn how to translate Thai information into English version. It will start from studying the grammar. Then, learn to translate from the basic (sentence translation) to the advanced (paragraph translation) ones. If you normally read news, it would help you a lot since you will have to translate news as well.

There are a lot of in-class assignments (23 worksheets in total) and you have to do them in group (around 4 people).

วิชา Translation จะเป็นวิชาบังคับสำหรับเด็กไทย พวกต่างชาติจะไม่ต้องเรียน แต่มันไม่ยากเกินไปหรอกถ้าเป็นคนมีพื้นฐานแกรมม่าดี

เราเรียนวิชานี้กับอ.อุไรพรรณตอนเทอม1/2017 บอกเลยว่าโคตรรรรรรรรแนะนำ55555 อ.ใจดี เข้าใจเด็กเสมอ อาจจะสอนเร็วไปหน่อย แต่ถ้ามีตรงไหนไม่เข้าใจเข้าไปถามอ.ได้เลย อ.อธิบายให้ตลอด ถ้ามีปัญหาอื่นๆอ.ก็พร้อมจะรับฟังและช่วยเหลือนะ บอกเลยเลิฟมากคนนี้

ส่วนเนื้อหาที่จะต้องเรียน ก็ตามชื่อวิชาอ่ะ ได้เรียนแปลเนื้อหาภาษาไทยให้เป็นอังกฤษ เริ่มเรียนตั้งแต่พวกแกรมม่า เริ่มแปลจากข้อความสั้นๆ (เป็นประโยค) ไปจนแปลเป็นข้อความยาวๆ (เป็นพารากราฟ) ถ้าปกติเป็นคนอ่านข่าวก็จะช่วยได้เยอะเพราะมันจะมีให้แปลข่าวด้วยตอนไฟนอล

งานเยอะหน่อยวิชานี้ มีใบงานให้ทำส่งในห้องทั้งหมด23ใบ ทำเป็นกลุ่มประมาณ 4 คน
